I’ll meet you there”

My Approach

I work with you at your own pace and I draw upon a variety of therapeutic approaches in order to best meet your needs and foster growth.

I am strongly influenced by Psychodynamics, Gestalt, Existential, and Relational approaches. I may also draw upon mindfulness and yoga practices for a holistic approach, in which we address emotions, thoughts, and the body.

Are we a good fit?

I am committed to each individual’s growth and healing and I have been trained in a variety of clinical orientations to treat a range of issues. However, I recognize that I may not be the right therapist for everyone. I will make every effort to ensure we are a good fit before we begin long-term work.

I will check in with you during our phone consultation and during our first few meetings about your needs, what you want to work on, how it feels for you to work with me, and whether it seems we are a good match to pursue treatment.

If we decide we are not a good fit, I can offer referrals to other healthcare professionals who may better meet your needs.
